Very interesting living downtown in a major city for the first time. People always rushing to beat the cross light, students hurrying to make it to class on time, couples in the park cuddled on a bench with their little paper cups (not for tea). We are in walking distance of Khreschatyk street which is considered by some to be Kiev's Rodeo Drive. There are always people out in about. They have decorated for the holidays so the street is covered with overhead hanging lights. Very pretty at night.
When being a mother of six seems a bit overwhelming.. Add to that equation, published author, student seeking Elementary Ed degree, business owner and survived living overseas in France, Turkey and the Ukraine. My grandmother told me I was an expert today.
