Winter break for the children means that mom needs to find somethings in Kyiv for them to do so that we can get off the sixth floor. We have been to visit a new mall that has bowling and ice-skating, also to the Circus and to the Nutcracker ballet (have to tell that story too).
We found a winter ice-skating show of Ukrainian world and olympic champions. The show was nice, a bit cold inside so good thing we did not check our coats. The children enjoyed especially the Michael Jackson tribute to "I'm Bad". They also did versions of The Snow Queen, "Carmen" and "Swan Lake". One of the performers even had on like 16 inch high ice skates, very impressive.
The journey home was another story...
